Slaying Goliath E-mail
If you're reading this, you're probably curious as to what the "Slaying Goliath" prayer army is and how it works. Below is a brief description of how it works.  Please feel free to pass this along to any of your friends and relatives because everyone needs prayer at some point. (Just click the email icon above and to the right to send to a friend or relative).

Here's some things you should know:

First, a little history on who I am.  My name is Gloria Ponziano and although I have worn many hats in my lifetime (Radio show host, Business owner,  published author, columnist, public speaker, Personal fitness trainer and on and on), my true PASSION has always been to help people who are downtrodden, discouraged, disappointed, fearful, etc., to connect (or reconnect) with their Creator God.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to pray for people and to teach through metaphors, the wonders of an incredible God who not only loves you beyond description, but aches to have you draw near to him so he can meet your every need.

I have been a Bible teacher since 1979 and although I don't associate myself with any particular church or denomination, (like many of you), this does NOT mean God doesn't hear our prayers and ANSWER them! Quite the contrary!! (I could write a book on just the miracles I've seen and had the honor of praying for with people). People have been totally healed of diseases including terminal cancer. Debt has been wiped out. Relationships restored. Even severe weather was diverted to allow a couple to wed under beautiful blue skies while the surrounding area experienced massive down pouring rain. :)

You see my friend, there is NO LIMIT to what God can do for you. It really depends upon what YOU can believe God WILL DO.

Now, here's how this army works:

1- Anyone can send a prayer request. Be as specific as possible and yet condensed. If it is too lengthy, I'll help by editing the text.  Let me know if you want your first name revealed otherwise I will use only your initials. (Personally I think a first name helps the prayer warriors to focus more, but its a personal choice). Please include your city and state.
Example: Mary from Detroit, Michigain

2- I will copy and paste your exact request into an email. (subject to editing if too lengthy)

3- I will write out a prayer specific to YOUR request as the Spirit leads me

4- I will then send your prayer request to everyone in the "army" under BLIND COPY so everyone's privacy is protected

5- To those receiving a "Slaying Goliath" request- Simply read the prayer aloud (much more powerful). For those who feel they don't know HOW to pray, reading these prayers aloud will help you grow in confidence within your own prayer life.

6- The purpose behind everyone praying the same prayer is to keep our spirit merged and united as ONE VOICE which then becomes a MASSIVE FORCE with God as the Source!

7- "IF" you would like to send a special message to the person requesting prayer, please do so through me. This prayer army has worked beautifully and we don't want anyone feeling bogged down reading responses from dozens of people. So lets respect everyone's privacy.

8- VERY IMPORTANT:  If you have requested prayer, PLEASE send us an update when your answer manifests. This helps to encourage others. You never know who may be dealing with the same thing YOU needed prayer for.  SEND US YOUR PRAISE REPORTS!!  :)

Example: one woman needed prayer for finances so she wouldn't get evicted. I knew of 4 people in this army facing the same thing. So please don't forget to share your answered prayer.
REMEMBER: THESE PEOPLE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU.......YOUR LOVED ONES.......YOUR FAMILY. PLEASE HONOR THEM BY SHARING YOUR ANSWERS SO THEY CAN BE ENCOURAGED TOO!

Final Comments:  I love to pray for people but it IS time consuming and often, very draining. It takes a great deal of discipline and energy to stay detached emotionally from the burdens people share.  I NEVER go to sleep if there are prayer requests waiting.  PRAYING for people is my top priority.

So if you feel "led" by God to donate a LOVE OFFERING, I would be most grateful.  But regardless, know that I consider it an HONOR to pray for you.

Now..........LETS SLAY SOME GIANTS!!
